RWE officially opened the operations and maintenance base for the Thor offshore wind farm on March 25, 2026. Thor, at 1.1 GW, is Denmark's largest offshore wind farm and is expected to reach full operations in 2027. The project is the first offshore wind farm globally to use steel turbine towers with a reduced carbon footprint. The O&M base will serve as the onshore hub for maintenance operations across the farm's full operational life.
