Offshore project contracting brought Golden Energy Offshore Services two new charters for its platform supply vessel Energy Swan, with a combined estimated firm value of about $8.7 million.[1] The contracts are with two different international charterers, whose names were not disclosed.[1]
The first assignment is scheduled to begin in October 2026 and has a firm duration of approximately one month, plus options.[1] The second is expected to start in January 2027 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with an estimated firm period of 290 days and options for about another 500 days.[1]
If every option under both contracts is exercised, their combined estimated value would reach about $23.5 million.[1] That larger figure includes optional work and is not the value of the firm commitments.[1]
GEOS also reported an average working dayrate of $24,464 and fleet utilisation of 94.3 percent for September.[1] After deducting September revenue, its estimated remaining firm backlog for Energy Pace, Energy Paradise and Energy Swan stood at about $17.9 million on 1 October.[1]
